Not to long ago UBereem was a LHW, using the Keto/Brock/Horse diet he bloated up to a super HW. Looking back at it, I am surprised at 3 things:
-how easy it was for Alistair to push around Big Brock, cause Brock was by far the most massive HW who weighed in 285 on a fight night and was a steroid HW powerhouse since 18.
-how fast Brock's jabs were. You don't expect a fake rassler to throw them so fast.
-how recklessly Ubereem just pushed forward with the knees. As it, fawk this, I am gonna go forward and I am gonna catch you as catch rasslers do and knee you to the belly, you can't do anything about it. Successfully.

Enjoy the fight:

Ubereem was so nasty. Such a shame we weren’t able to see that version of Overeem fight JDS for the belt. I think he’d have won it.
He would have ended JDS and maybe saved him from the Cain beat downs.

but I think Reem was depreciating physically too the Reem that fought lesnar was less Uber than the one that won K1 or ragdolled Duffy

Not sure about this, he looked massive.
But maybe too massive, I think he was at his best against Duffy/Rogers around 250-255lbs

He was too big around 263-265+ and lost significant speed

Overeem was on some heavy juices at that time. Strong man training was a regular part of his routine. He would've bullied anybody had he not pissed hot and got suspended. He wasn't close to natural, but he was certainly a specimen. Fedor wouldn't fight him when they were both in Strikeforce and it was THE fight to make. That says something.

The sad part is, I always thought Overeem was the best heavyweight in the world technically. He just couldn't take a great punch. He'd be winning easily and then he'd get clipped and go to sleep. I don't think he needed the steroids.

Wasn't Brock full diverticulitis in that fight?

Not that it matters, overeem 10/10 against Brock.

He was more than 6 months removed from his last surgery when he fought Overeem and before the fight he claimed he was back to 100% and felt as good as he ever had. Of course, after the fight he claimed he was still suffering from the effects of the diverticulitis and retired, so who knows...?

Brock was setup to be Reems huge entrance in UFC and fight for tittle, too bad he forgot that there are actual testing in UFC

yap, he started cycling for ufc's minimal ped check, while for k1 he didnt have to.

Overeem kicked Brock right where Brock had major career ending / possible life ending surgery.

Overeem dont give a F*#%
the liver?

If Ubereem ragdolled the SHW 290 LBS STEROID MOUNTAIN in Brock, yea, not a good fight for 230lbs fat past his prime Fedor.

Still holds 2 wins against the K1 goat.

He obviously needed them for confindence/added strength etc.
He went from getting powered down to the ground by LHW to ragdolling HW

Agreed 100%. Mindblowing what he did to clean natty Brock.
