Haven't watched the full film in quite awhile. Now I have a new appreciation for this film. It's a very good, with comedic breaks, action, drama you name it all.

I use to hate this film, but I'm now on board.

Too bad Edward Furlong didn't have a better career.

I was thinking about Predator while i was writing the post , Predator is right up there but it's more horror/action , but i guess you could say the same about Terminator , so yeah definately a 10 also.

Probably a 10 from me as well. I watched it in a movie theatre as a kid and numerous times at home.

Nostalgia factor is strong but it hold up really well on rewatch still, solid 8

Its in the 8 to 9 range for me.

I watched it a few weeks ago and rated it an 8 which is the lowest ive ever rated it.

Can't match the atmopshere of the first. It's "just" an extremely well made popcorn action movie.

It was the last really good Terminator movie, most of what followed was average or borderline atrocious.

Watched it around a friends house on VHS when I was about 9 in the late 90's, was super tense cos I knew prior to watching it I likely wouldn't have been allowed at home.. Also watched it before I saw the first one. Also first thing I watched on Blue-ray
Absolute masterpiece for me, blew me lil mind.

Die hard is the best action movie ever.

T2 is sci fi action.

incredible for a sequel. voted 10 out of principle but i'd say it's a 9.

i consider 1 and 2 the only movies in the franchise since the rest are so bad and i'd say 1 and 2 should be judged individually since they're different genres.

overall, the first is so much better for the atmosphere, intensity, danger, and grittiness.

Amazing movie, would give it a 10 but the hast la vista baby thumbs up cringe makes it a 9. I know it s a 90‘s thing but it didn‘t age well for me.

I should also add that this is the best movie trailer of all time. I was like 12 when this dropped before the movie, it brought so much wonder as to what the hell the movie is gonna be!
