Jane Foster Thor is cool in the comics, even if the story is born out of sjw toxic masculinity theory, which means they're going to be shitting all over Thor again, only this time it will be an entire movie dedicated to shitting on Thor. @Dragonlordxxxxx remember when Thor 2 trailer was released I called it by saying Jane Foster will be the hero (and she was), this one is going to make Thor look like a damsel in distress.

But Ace Ventura 2 is maybe the only follow up comedy I liked better than the first

i'd like to see that. Its been rumoured and I think the Russo's have said they are fans of the character.

Personally i doubt it though just because I think the MCU is trending more towards female leads and not another Rocket or Groot, type 'creature' lead and I think Natalie Portman as Thor, if she will take the role is just too big a name for them to ignore her. They won't have both. I, personally, don't want to see Natalie in the role. Not even a little bit. But I do think you will see that mid way thru this next stage, if she wants the role. It seems hers for the taking.

If anything has hurt the Indy genre more recently its big studio Oscar bait drama, the MCU didn't invent the blockbuster.

The nature of Thor in the MCU has always been a cocky character facing up to his flaws so nothing new there either. Its more whether they can make Jane an interesting character to play off of him, I trust Waititi not to make her a bland "strong female character" same as he didn't with Valkyrie.

The ironic thing with Captain Marvel is that all the male leads had more interesting characters than she did, this in a franchise that's always been built around the lead characters rather than villians.

You could argue that outfit would be more justified if she ends up involved in Strange's world, more of a neo gothic fantasy.

Johanssons outfit "covered her up" I spose but that was all it did.

ya she was out until they started talking to her last year about coming back to be Lady Thor. Hard to resist that in todays age and the money you get on one big MCU arc is almost irresistible for many.

You can bet on Pepper (Paltrow) being the next wave Iron Man too.

I just realised -- Valkyrie being openly bisexual probably means that it's gonna be rated 18+ in Russia and maybe banned in China (or they are against only movie with homosexuals, not bisexuals?), right?
