It looks like a Fight Night. It's not the end of the world to miss that event.

You need these events. They keep the fighters going and paid. The more fights they have then they move up in pay. They wouldn't get a spot on big PPVs. These little cards also let fighters develop or fight their way out of the prelim.

There's a semi decent heavyweight fight as the main event. It's nowhere near the worst. I think Eye vs Calvillo sits atop that throne

That said, I do think that this card actually has less sleeper potential with the main event being heavyweights and most of the card being more older journeyman and filler fighters rather than young up-and-coming talent that just hasn't built a name for itself yet

I think when some one is criticising a card before it happens it's not a critique that it's boring. It's a critique that the card is unappealing. It doesn't make you want to watch it. Your missing the point entirely.

You might make an event out of watching some fight cards, hell you might even miss out one some events to watch a fight card but not this one. I think that's what's trying to be said here

Card sucks but I think people need to accept the sports is currently in a drought now. Don’t like the card? Find something else to do. Well I do agree UFC cards have been terrible recent years, these type of threads are tiring and nobody is forcing you to watch it.

Lack of name value and quality fighters is what separates people watching UFC Vs bellator, PFL, One, Rizen ect With cards like this, those promotions and UFC are interchangable.

Maybe the UFC should stop putting on such horrible cards every month.

This is true. Last week I watched the Lemos - Jandiroba card. After that some Cage warriors card and it was almost the same. ONE is usually a bit more interesting, but getting weird lately. Anyway, I’m entertained still, regardless of promotion. This card looks horrible, no idea who half of the fighters are. I’ll still watch the replay at some point when I get 2 free hours in the schedule and skip everything but actual fighting.

Yeah I'm with you, I watch as much MMA as I can still admit when a card is hot garbage.

Awesome, go watch regional MMA, it's fucking bonkers every time and since you don't care about the actual skill level displayed in the octagon you're gonna love it.
