This thread is not a rebel thread, this thread is Cerrone Bloody Cerrone

I demand more. I have spoken.
Perhaps if you answer the OP question there is hope...

PS- Assuming you are a real Doctor and not a Dr. Dre type rapper Dr. any guilty feelings about watching a sport so damaging to the participants?....i did a whole thread on this earlier, not sure if you answered in that...small brain, short memory, where the carrots at?

If you become a fan of a fighter (or band) you will experience their glorious best and their absolute worst.

I'm asking you to pick a fighter and name their best fight and their worst. If you want to get really specific you can pick best round or best moment versus worst round or moment. I'd also love to hear your reasoning for each pick.....

Here I'll show you mine-

For Cerrone I'd say his Eddie Alvarez fight was his best. It showed his resilience, adaptability and fight IQ. In it he turns away an interloping viable top contender from a different organization that nobody was sure wouldn't steamroll him as the UFC gatekeeper. I liken it to the sublime U2 Live at Red Rocks: Under a Blood Red Sky, which is the equivalent of meeting your family and best mates for the perfect pint of Guinness at your favorite pub

And his worst would be the McGregor fight which showed he was completely cracked and that a few shoulder strikes could put him out on main street in Wobblytown. I liken this to Zooropa which is the equivalent of the toxic squirts I'd produce after a night of cheap tequila and taco bell.

Against guys that were supposed to beat him, he was always a live underdog.

Loved watching thst guy fight.

I have two fighters that I lived and died with for everyone of their victories and defeats. First was Chuck Liddell. He was the first MMA fighter I really bonded to, and got nervous for his fights. His best fight, for me, was the first fight with Tito Ortiz. It was by far the biggest fight in UFC history at that time. My worst fight, was his devastating KO loss to Rashad Evans. The first time he lost to Rampage Jackson in PRIDE was bad too, but after the fight with Evans, I knew he was done. Very sad.
The second fighter was Mirko Cro cop. His best fight was his head kick KO of Wanderlei Silva, two icons in PRIDE history. His worst loss, has to be his head kick loss to Gabriel Gonzaga in the UFC. That was brutal to watch, if your a fan!
If Jon Jones ever gets brutally KO'd, that will be on my worst list too!

Robbie Lawler, one of my all time favorite warriors had some oe the highest highs and lowests lows this beautifully brutal sport has to offer.

For his low point, I am going with his KO loss to Nick Diaz. Robbie was favored as i recall and the narrative prior to the fight was that of a classic "striker vs grappler" with Robbie expected to have a distinct striking edge and Nick to be favored if it hit the mat. As we all know, Nick shocked the world with a faceplant KO, which began a 3 fight losing streak that eould see Robbie go from UFC title contender to getting cut.

Here is footage from an interview backstage where the journalist says to Nick "I know you are not a KO guy"

High point: stopping Rory in round 5 of their epic FOTY title fight.

Epic bloody staredown:

Fight

I am absolutely not a real doctor, although this is sherdog, so maybe I am. But as for the OP, I'm gonna go with Rumble. If I had to pick a high, I'd go with absolutely demolishing Gus, with his low point being choked out at WW by Koshcheck.

RIP Rumble!!!

best fight was glover vs Anthony Smith

worst fight glover vs hill during this fight i flipped out and threw a pillow then turned off the tv lol

Fedor vs Nog and vs Mirko
Beat them both at their own game.

Fedor vs Bigfoot...that shit straight up broke my heart.
It was 1-1 going into the third! Damn doctors robbed us of a third round destruction! I still believe! :)

No. shortly after college I gathered a bunch of my friends and signed us up for what we thought was going to be a pretty non-competitive basketball league. Turned out it was stacked with past top level high school players all the way up to recently graduated division 1 players. There were guys that went from playing in the NCAA tournament to dunking on my slow weak no handle having ass. In our first game a guy shit talked me running down the court saying "it like we're the dream team and you're Angola" I shot viciously shot back "you're not wrong" We had a friend who would video the games for us and we'd get beers and laugh at how badly we got slaughtered each week. After about the 2nd or 3rd game, we just kept saying "shit you got burnt" or he fucking toasted you on that one". And my one friend said face facts we're the toasty boys of this league. So we officially petitioned the league to change our name from whatever stupid shit we had Bucket Brigade or Da Ballers to the Toasty Boys and I got called Coach Toasty. We went winless and often had our score at least doubled by the other teams. We still mock each other by sending pictures of toasters or burnt toast or toast with F U burned in it to this day. Thus a crying prey animal named toasty with a lower case t trying to drink away those bitter memories seems fitting.

Why does he want to get ktfo by Tate? I like cowboy but a light breeze and he goes out. He crumbles on big fights. I don't think he can handle the pressure and sadly conor was there for his taking. Rumor was he was a nervous rekt and "didn't want to be there." Imagine if conor destroyer him verbally before? It end quicker than Mas V Ben.

Loved me some Evan Tanner back in the day. The Tito slam KO was a rough one, but I'd have to say the best and worst for me were 2 fights to the same person.

Best was beating Baroni back to back and worst was not being able to get over the Rich Franklin hill 2x's.

Ha! I was going to go with Shavkat, but his absolute worst is still a win by finish.

And you can even argue that it was his best in terms of several factors:

1. It was his best showing of his heart and grit
2. Best showing of his clinchwork
3. Best showing of his chin
4. It was the most dangerous opponent he ever fought

Lmao, nice. Toasty!

Dominick Cruz (won’t count his most recent losses as he should’ve retired after the Cejudo loss)

Best: Faber 2 or KO of the highly underrated Takeya Mizugaki

Worst: Ivan Lopez. Lopez’s leg kicks and countering of prime Cruz’s elusive movement forced him to adopt a boring wrestling approach where he just laid on him for three rounds. Ended in a lackluster technical decision.

Nick Diaz surviving Paul Daley's semtex filled fist and then getting back to his feet and finishing Daley with superior angles and cardio.

Then...Nick Diaz showing up to fight Robbie, can't make 170 so changed it to 185 the week of, and then kneeling down like a school yard bully who got popped in the face.

Not that Nick didn't do it to himself, but fuck the athletic commissions and the way they nuked his last years he could fight over weed.
