Why Dana hates GSP:
1) GSP wasn't a pushover in contract negotiations.
2) GSP had leverage throughout his second title reign because he never lost.
3) GSP wanted stricter drug testing when the UFC didn't.
4) GSP had a "boring" style.
5) GSP walked away from the UFC as the champion, which made Dana's job more difficult in promoting the next Welterweight champion since the lineal title was simply vacated.
6) It took the UFC and GSP over a year to negotiate a new contract, and GSP even used the creation of a fighter's union for leverage (see Points 1 & 2).
7) GSP won the Middleweight title, vacated it, and walked away without losing (again).
The reason Dana constantly bashes GSP is largely for contract negotiations and to diminish GSP's leverage in said negotiations; in his attempts to devalue GSP he's hoping to lowball him in fight contracts.
If Sherdoggers had asked themselves why Dana went from proclaiming Demetrious Johnson as the GOAT, to a few months later going on a campaign to smear Johnson's name by saying that his division is worthless, that he's fighting nobodies, and that he was ducking TJ Dillashaw, then Sherdoggers might not have fallen for the bait that Dana set and subsequently helped him in devaluing Johnson so that he couldn't get the paltry $1-2 million total purse for a champion vs. champion fight.
