I think it’s kind of funny actually. My neighbor growing up had a boxer named Larry.

When I was growing up, my Dad named our dog blacky. After an incident where my dad was calling for the dog outside, he was renamed Blackjack.

lol. My aunts dog was a black chow mix named Blackie. Obviously it wasn’t meant to be racist but it would never fly today.

I called my previous cat Smelly Paws. The cat I have now is Thomas Jefferson, I don't know if I get another cat...
