This is a Karate fighter

There are a few Glory guys that could hang with the old K-1 crowd, but as a whole kickboxing has diminished.
Interestngly why? KB exactly uses the same kicks allowed in MMA in general plus not all KB is PAC style...rules.

K-1 had a better infrastructure. They co-promoted with regional promotions which did a lot of the leg work for them, so the talent pool was much bigger. The top fighters were also more active and fought each other a lot more frequently; iron sharpens iron.

That and there was more money on the table.

Mainly was yeah, later lesser interest from TV and radio companies , lesser ad deals with companies = considerably lesser money.

I trained both.
I mean training karate is healther unless the gym culture has careful sparring which exists too. No head damage cause the shits are controled. And there's gyms which do cause some damage. Everyone trains what they like, any sport. Just to me karate is not entirely focused on sport winning fight efectivness. People can train ball games, running, bodybuilding, it's their choice.

Sure, I agree. Karate is not entirely focused on combat sport competition. And yes, one may have less injury and longevity due to the limited sparring.

Brain damage is the worst injury. But believe some gyms got culture where if you behave in a way people go light to the head and it's still hard sparring. Other gyms are best avoided.
