Gas chamber IMO.She deserves whatever prison sentence he would have got, that shit sticks with you for life.
That is some serious psycho shit.

Not an expert but I think it's generally 72 hours the police have in the USA to hold you and then you get an initial hearing. Maybe one of the US (former) policemen or lawyers here will chip in. Superficially it's hard to see how $1 million bail was objectively justified at the hearing in this case. A million seems to be excessive for similar charges, so either Pierson was considered likely to run, or commit more crimes, or both, or he was being punished for reasons of Feminism. Ideally he would have been released quicker than a month as well. And false accusers shouldn't just get the maximum punishment the people they accuse could have got, they should get more on top for perjury, wasting police time and so on.Something in this country is seriously messed up if you can be put in prison for a month on $1 million bail just b/c someone accuses you of something. Doesn't there have to be some substantial evidence in order to be held for that long and for that huge amount of bail? Ridiculous that it's basicallly guilty until proven innocent.
Yes, although idk how much $ this 20 year old has.Plus what about his legal fees, potential loss of job, public shame, etc. Can he sue in civil court?
As I said, mud sticks. He didn't do anything wrong but he's going to be tainted by that and ridiculed for life. Poor bloke, it's horrible.Something in this country is seriously messed up if you can be put in prison for a month on $1 million bail just b/c someone accuses you of something. That's not enough. She needs to be behind bars as well as the judges who give light sentences to women like her.Yeah, this was big news in Bucks county last spring.
That chick is despicable and she is universally despised now throughout the county, probably all of southeastern PA if not the entire state.
i mean, ive never felt encouraged by society to falsely accuse men of raping and kidnapping me, i can't imagine any of my friends feel that either. i think we've been through so much actual shit, that we never went to anybody with, that why would we for deal with this kind of fuss for a lie? there's no shortage of guilty men. ima leave the innocent ones be.women wouldn't do this if they weren't encourage by society to do so. Men proven innocent routinely punished more severely than false accusers.
the lack of punishment for false accusations is the societal encouragement, lack of real punishment(death) for rapists also makes this worse,i mean, ive never felt encouraged by society to falsely accuse men of raping and kidnapping me, i can't imagine any of my friends feel that either. i think we've been through so much actual shit, that we never went to anybody with, that why would we for deal with this kind of fuss for a lie? there's no shortage of guilty men. ima leave the innocent ones be.

Let's see the stats on this.women wouldn't do this if they weren't encourage by society to do so. Men proven innocent routinely punished more severely than false accusers.
The problem with cases like this is that it nearly always comes down to he said/she said with no actual proof. The only time you will ever hear about something like this is when the woman is stupid enough to actually admit that she made it up, so you'll never see it in any kind of crime statistics.Let's see the stats on this.
The reason I'm triggered about this is because so very rarely percentage wise are rapists prosecuted. This makes everyone disbelieve victims even less.
There are also though, you know, rapists. The problem with cases like this is that it nearly always comes down to he said/she said with no actual proof. The only time you will ever hear about something like this is when the woman is stupid enough to actually admit that she made it up, so you'll never see it in any kind of crime statistics.
Problem is, with cases like this and the huge backlash she's going to receive, means other women who do this shit, even if remorseful, will never admit to it... meaning the guys that are falsely accused are just completely screwed.
I think statistics on this topic are going to be skewed in both directions, in the 5 minutes I spent on this I could only find info stating that situation is quite rare, I found plenty of information on specific cases while finding very none whatsoever on convictions of false accusers. Rapists are often not prosecuted to the full extent of the law and when they are it's a slap on the wrist. This can be one of the hardest crimes to prove which is one reason why some will not believe victims. But in all clear cases I believe it should be punishable by death if not a life sentence. I think solving this issue first should be priority. There wouldn't be as many false allegations if you know that making a false allegation would result in a death sentence for the accused.Let's see the stats on this.

Of course, I never said there weren't.There are also though, you know, rapists.
I don't like punishable by death in any instance. But okay.I think statistics on this topic are going to be skewed in both directions, in the 5 minutes I spent on this I could only find info stating that situation is quite rare, I found plenty of information on specific cases while finding very none whatsoever on convictions of false accusers. Thats of course never extended as far as people not being imprisoned(well jailed) before trial though has it?Of course, I never said there weren't.
The issue is that the very basis of our legal system is the presumption of innocence until guilt is proven... and rightly so or we would be throwing people like this in prison for just an accusation.
How do you prove someone's guilt if it's he said/she said and there's no evidence?
I'm not making any kind of judgement beyond that this girl is an utter piece of shit. I was simply pointing out why the prosecution rate is so low for these kinds of alleged crimes.Thats of course never extended as far as people not being imprisoned(well jailed) before trial though has it?
Really whats in question here is why the authorities made a bad judgement on giving these accusations so much credence. I mean stats wise we can see there are a VAST amount of cases were women have been victims of rape/violence, nothing is done and then they(or someone else) end up being attacked again by the same person or even killed but not everyone of thsoe cases is highlighted in the media, partly due to shear numbers but also I'd guess because they know this kind of story plays well to a certain demographic, its good clickbait for angry middle aged conservatives.
If I had to guess beyond incompetence and inconsistency the bad judgement here may well be due to...
1.The guy looks like cliched ideas of "creepy".
2.The women is young, white and good looking.
In the same Daily Mail article you have another case were a middle class white woman accused two black men of a sexual attack in the same fashion.
