In combat sports, anything can happen.

Even khabib recently said that at this high of a level of MMA, anyone can land a huge shot.

But as Nurmagomedov also said, Max will have to shut his lights completely out to stop him.
 
Meh. I don't know. I expect khabib to be the boring smotherer he's been to now, a lighter fighter.

I'd be a delight if khabib lost, but I'd rather have ortega.
 
Besides the fact that Holloway and Michael Johnson are completely different types of boxers, one of the biggest beat downs in mma history makes you think Max has a chance? That's odd

I hate that " In combat sports anything can happen" shit,...in any sport anything can happen sir...or not?? tell me in what sport some outcomes can't happen?

I didn't know you already posted the fight sherbarian.. But yeah, Max has precision striking and if he comes in at a good size I think he has a pretty solid chance providing his cardio can hold up. Khabib is next level to everyone though.

The closer it gets to fight night, the closer I think the fight is actually going to be.

With that said I still think Khabib’s definitely gonna win.
 
Khabib’s really disrespecting Max and even trash talking the dude. Max is gonna take this by KO.
 
Michael Johnson is one of the best gatekeeper at 155 and Khabib ran through thru him.
 
MJ has more power, a longer reach and faster hands than max though.

Really pulling for Blessed here but it's honestly hard to see a path to victory.
 
You know Khabib was leaving himself open on purpose right that's part of his strategy is to get you to open up with strikes then when he senses the slightest sign of you fading or getting sloppy that's when he puts continuous takedown pressure on you.

Max is a brawler too much of the time for him to not make any mistakes and not get taken down. Khabib will let Max have his chance but after he tortures Max on the ground trapping his arms then letting him try to get back up then trap his arm again and then let him try to get back up and then trap again over and over to try to break his spirit then his cardio won't matter because he's got no spirit. Having Cardio but no spirit is like having gas with no engine.

It does not help that Khabib has a chin like a Neanderthal. It will be AWFULLY hard for any 45'er to turn dat off, especially a volume punching one.

i felt the same way.
but after watching the presser today
max looked bigger than kabob
and confident as hell.
i think kabob is underestimating him badly
