Every time the UFC pushes out one of their past their prime relics into the cage, you get people that think they’ll turn back the clock. This is nothing more than let’s keep Khamzat busy, pad the record a little bit, give him time to work before a title fight, put him in there with a beatable popular opponent, etc. It ends in TKO.

this is a mismatch, it's being made because dana is pissed at nate, he's being punished. you couldn't come up with a bigger problem for nate. can't KO him, can't outwork him and has even less hope of stopping the TD. i can see this being the fight where diaz takes a horrendous amount of punishment and announces his retirement afterwards. although with the diaz bros, why even try to predict anything.

Almost anytime everyone expects an easy win its bad news for that fighter unless its something like Couture v James Toney...people expected Mir to destroy Lesnar...people expected JJ to destroy Reyes etc. If its a 5 round fight I can see Khamzat tired in rounds 4-5 and Diaz getting a second wind.

If its a 3 round fight I can see it being a close decision either way.
