This fight is actually really bad for Khamzat.

Khamzat has the physical talent to be one of the greatest ever, but we’ve seen he has flaws related to striking defense, not sticking to a game plan, and wanting to swang and bang rather than fighting smart.

The Burns fight probably taught him a lot and might have made him a much better fighter. But now he’s getting fed a washed Nate Diaz. The crowd will be going wild and wanting violence. He’s gonna end up walking him down and fighting like an idiot and KO’ing him and then he’ll be back in the swang and bang mindset that got him in trouble against Burns.

But it will just further lead to developing bad habits that will cost him against elite WWs. You don’t sharpen your skills when you’re preparing for and fighting Nate Diaz.

Khamzat gets a guaranteed TS if he beats Nate in any way, shape, or form. A game plan heavy on takedowns and leg kicks should be implemented, no need to get in a cardio striking battle with Diaz.

Khamzat’s mgmt = genius

He’s not gonna KO Diaz

I believe the OP meant "try to KO Diaz."

If he runs in and does to Nate what he did to the Leech, it's going to be a tough night for Diaz fans.

While this isn't highly likely, Diaz isn't exactly the best in the clinch.
I doubt it'd be anything other than drawn out; but Khamzat could definitely get Diaz down in the same manner then start the GnP.

Nate doesn't have 1 punch KO power and I can't see Khamzat standing Infront of him long enough to accumulate damage.

Depends on whether he (and his team) learned from his last win or not.

I wouldn't put money on that

Might be worth a "throw away" bet.

Nate survives the onslaught and gasses Khamzat, then unleashes a steady barrage of pitter patter punches, stockton slaps, and middle fingers. Nate rocks Khamzat, but laughs and points at him instead of going for the kill. A comfy 50-45 for Borz.

Nate knows something we don't,why on earth would he take this fight? It doesn't make sense,i think nate tko in 5th
Im sure its because he gets a high ranking opponent and a huge paycheck. Nothing to lose for nate because he isn’t expected to win.

I’ll definitely toss $5 on Nate Diaz by sub at +5000 or whatever the odds will be. Because, why not?

Almost anytime everyone expects an easy win its bad news for that fighter unless its something like Couture v James Toney...people expected Mir to destroy Lesnar...people expected JJ to destroy Reyes etc. If its a 5 round fight I can see Khamzat tired in rounds 4-5 and Diaz getting a second wind.

If its a 3 round fight I can see it being a close decision either way.

Tuivasa has a better chance of beating Gane than Nate beating Khamzat. A much better chance

thats just contrarianism. nate is getting ripped apart. its an easy fight.

doesnt make much sense sport-wise but it makes sense money and hype wise, it exposes khamzat to even more people and gets him the title shot.

The main reason for that drops Nate's chances(not that it was good to start with) is just his face scars opening up so easy, otherwise I would have given Diaz sort of decent chance. Khamzat goes hard at a pace he can't keep for 5 rounds, and Nate is very hard to finish. So it could be interesting if he survives, but with the cuts and with Khamzat probably adjusting his pace a bit, it's very to get there. I do hope Nate gets it's done somehow pulls off that 10% chance and retires as a super legend doing that, because the UFC is doing him dirty AF with this matchup.
