Things we believe existed, but never actually did.

I remember pikachus black tale.

The creepiest one is Volkswagen. Theres video evidence of it changing in real time.

The Mandela Effect never existed, it's just called being wrong.

Most obviously its often when something ends up being shifted towards being easier to remember or more quotable. Looney Tunes was named to mirror Disney's Merry Melodies but then mixed up with Toons as a shorthand for cartoons.

Nelson Mandela dying in prison though thats just strange to be such a bad example and perhaps just shows you how ignorant of foreign affairs most Americans are, if you being charitable maybe people get him mixed up with fellow activist Steve Biko who was murdered by SA whilst in custody?

It is even more worrying that confronted with some pretty obvious errors people arent willing to accept their mistake and instead turn to insane conspiracy theories to try and explain them, seems to indictate a wave of massive narcissism.

I thought fruit of the loom was a skit made up on in living colour. That’s how I remember it.

As an Australian who speaks the Queen's English as opposed to the rhotic American (or regional English, Scottish or Irish style) I assure you it was always looney tunes (which doesn't sound the same as toon's in our non rhotic London tongue).

Nowadays everybody wanna act like they got something to do
But when they move they lips it's just a bunch of gibberish, mfrs:

IF IT WAS TO ME YOU MF STOP COMING UP TO ME BEFORE THE SHOW YOU WERENT BUMPING ME NOW WHOSE THE POKEMON THEY TOLD YOU TO SEE SNOWMOBILES AND SKIS!

Merry melodies

Except whether he died or not is a fact not a belief. ;)

He 100℅ never died in prison. I remember him getting out. It was a big deal.
Yeah, I mean, if you think Mandela died in prison, then you simply have zero grasp of anything historical. He was president of South Africa. So how would he have been that if he died in prison for protesting apartheid? One obviously had to follow the other. It’s not as if he was president, then they instituted apartheid, put him in prison, and then he died. Anyone who has any amount of historical understanding of the world would know that makes zero sense.

I don’t remember it being black
I've been a huge pokemon fan since I can remember. I always drew Pikachu back then and shade the tip of its tail with black because that's how he had always been. Just like how I always shade the tip of his ears with black.

Why even care about so small changes. I had to look at most of those pictures a few time to even spot the difference.

The Mandela Effect. What are your thoughts on this?

Everything on the LEFT side never existed in today's reality.

Growing up, it was always a debate if Mona Lisa's poker face was smiling or not.
Today's Mona Lisa is smirking lol

Darth Vader never said "Luke"

It was never "Mirror, mirror on the wall ... fairest of them mall"

"Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest ONE OF ALL" ???

----

The Statue of Liberty was NEVER in Ellis Island.

Looney Tunes was a music reference (e.g. Merry Melodies).

Tommy Boy popularized the quote “Luke, I’m your father.”

You didn’t watch Karate Kid if you think he had a rising sun bandana.

Ellis Island is where they processed immigrants. My family went through Ellis Island. You think immigrants lined up at the Statue of Liberty? lol

Your first exposure to Berenstain Bears was somebody reading it you. You were at the mercy of how they accurately they pronounced an unusual Germanic name. You never really “read” the name after that. You just glanced and used whatever pronunciation you were exposed to.
