Things to consider about Merab/O’Malley

One, O'Malley is not a power puncher, accurate, but little power.

This is a very odd take. How does he have so many KO's and TKO's with "little power".

Even in fights that go to decision like Yan, he rocked Yan in that fight which not many fighters do.

Vera just has some Godly chin, he's an anomoly.

How do people under estimate Merab? I'm no fan but the guy blew through Yan and Aldo with ease. Yet, on this, and multiple other threads, people keep claiming that O'Malley is going to catch him coming in and KO him. Very doubtful. One, O'Malley is not a power puncher, accurate, but little power. This is a horrible match-up, O'Malley has never fought a ground and pound beast like Merab. Merab has a great chin and unlimited cardio and will wear O'Malley down through relentless take-downs and ground and pound.

I think there's a LOT of wishful thinking going on. Honestly, I'd rather watch an exciting striker pinging people than a cardio-wrestler (impressive as it is), so imagine a lot of people are not looking forward to a decision machine being champ.

I'm easy either way TBH, but I think this is Merab's fight to lose

O’Malley also showed pretty poor wrestling defense. Also doesn’t look to be very physically strong
