The murder rate was through the roof in the 70s - 90s. It was blacks & hispanics responsible for that. One of the reasons there's less murder now, although still extremely high in certain parts of the country (you know which parts), is because a large % of young men are now cooped up in their bedrooms playing video games and surfing the web. That's done a great job keeping them busy instead of being on the streets getting up to no good.
