Im in the middle of making my own power rack/monolift, reverse hyper, dip station, and a lifting platform

plus im making 3 boxes for whatever (squats, step ups, weighted jumps, hip thrusters), one 10-12-14 inches, one 16-18-20 inches, and one 22-24-26 inches

once im done with all that ill probably make some homemade bumpers, love to try some snatches, i kind of think i cant do cleans. Not to sound vain but i think my arms are too big, i have big forearms and biceps from carrying furniture all these years and i cant rack the bar in the front without ripping my elbows and wrists in half.....kind of makes me sad

Well I am jealous. I still need to make a platform, I also need a dip station. So I hope to see some instructions.

yeah ive give you instructions if you want them, ive been chipping away at the project for the last week or so. Power rack is done, dip station is half done and i have 2 boxes done already. Just with my schedule i cant get tons of time to work on it at a time. but total for everything i will probably spend 350-400 bucks. Which includes 30-40 bucks on a couple tool items i needed, not too bad

yeah i usually get two compliments.....forearms and calves, haha. i swear ive had like 500 people in my life say "holy shit you have huge calves"

yes please, also very true. A pre made platform is like a grand. you've already saved a lot.

yeah i know, i look how much that stuff is online and i cant imagine spending that much on gym equipment

yeah....when i think of the 10-20 thousand miles, and the hundreds of thousand steps ive walked in the past decade it makes me die a little on the inside

Yeah, it's one of those things that grinds my gears. Have you seen Elite FTS shipping ? it's horrible. i'd rather drive down there and pick whatever i bought up. although admittedly , i am planning to buy a weightset and squats stands from pendlay.com.



i couldn't imagine being a mover for a living. i moved this summer and that sucked. i am not envious of your job jester.

The snatches and cleans were mostly technique work. Which both the snatch and clean have both reverted back to shit. I am not too sure why though. I have a guess,but it's unlikely. The squats were only 225. It's all I can get up lately. I tweaked my right knee and lower back. Not from lifting,however I am sure it didn't do me any favours.

snatch and clean form work done from the hang. Both felt great, a noticeable difference in the catch for the clean. The snatch felt smoother as well. I've figured out the problem from last time.
