Considering the price difference between rehband knee sleeves and socks, that would make too much sense.
I've tried it. The Knurling laughs at the tube socks futile attempt to protect my skin.

Made a sled. Put around 200 lbs on it and dragged it, fun. I'm tempted to quite a bit more on there and just fucking pull.
