Crime These soft judges need to be held accountable

No fucking way I am wading through that. This is what you do. Flood the area. Skip all that shit and quote me something.

CLOWN SHOW.

everyone else can see these freaks. “Show me a source”

*many sources providned*

“Rheeeee”

*rinse and repeast*

I just assume alll of these are @Sinister alt accounts with the psychosis and schizophrenia

People get light sentences, or just away with shit completely, all the time. Juries, for example, can vote however they want. Our system is built to favor the defense, which is how it should be, but a major downside is that sacks of garbage can and do walk for any number of reasons. Sometimes judges are pieces of shit too and it goes either way with not-so-bad or innocent people getting the hammer, or scum coasting. Imo there's a big fallacy in thinking this is partisan at root (broadly speaking), particularly when we have a for-profit prison system.

You are defending the thread, which makes you complicit. I'll give you 20 seconds to look that word up...........

Now, can you provide me answers to any of my questions?
Negative. As ive said, you seem more interested in this moot guideline then me.

Without digging into the case, what were the sentencing guidelines? @Richmma80 This is your thread. Usually, the judge's hands are tied due to sentencing guidelines. As far as this piece of garbage, I'd love to have him over and call some friends for a nice "get together".

No, this was not a "hands were tied" buck passing candidate, it was the judge's discretion to lower the charges from felony to misdemeanor and to give the lowest allowable sentence for that to a repeat violent offender, and to do it multiple times when she had already let the guy out for a violent offense before and then he attacked somebody else like 2 days later.

Then give me some receipts. I am thinking you are right, but I am not taking your word for it.

Link is sentencing guidelines. A multiple time violent offender doing serious bodily harm isn't even supposed to be a candidate for reduced charges, and this isn't exclusive to Cleveland, but reducing charges generally means a sentence on the higher end for the reduced charges, but even that would be 6 months per charge, and she reduced the charges AND gave him the lowest sentence for the reduced charges with no time for what was multiple felony assault charges.
