I do see Max with his short arms having big problems with a very good powerful striker his height, heavier in the cage and with a 3inch reach advantage.

Closest thing to that would be Poirier, but he is a southpaw and Cater is 2 inches taller. Kattar is more of a sniper, Poirier has success with combinations.

Holloway made a career out of beating guys shorter than him, to make up for his short arms.
He is so thin that he can throw more punches than everyone. Volk also! beat him, by threatening and slowing the fight down to his pace.

He can beat Kattar in the later rounds with volume. But he will be swolen and cut by then.

They only share two opponents. Lamas and Stephens. While Max took these two to decision, Kattar smoothly knocked them out. Since this is MMA math though, it's a moot point.

If past opponents are off tale, we can only take a look at their skillsets.
2 of the best boxers in the division.
Kattar with the best jab, Holloway with the best cross.
Both great cardio, never seen either guy gass.
Both great chins and defense. Neither guy has been ko'd.

Yet people are convinced Max got this in the bag. Why is that? Because you like him? Max is a cool dude, i like him too. Im not letting that cloud my judgement tho. Max has a very tough fight on his hands and could easily drop 3 in a row.

I thought Holloway looked fantastic in the 2nd Volkanovski fight and won easily.

Yep. I had people trying to call me an idiot because i used the line "Max is still very much championship level" with some buddies and they were trying to act like I know nothing. Well I know a lot of people who thought he won his last fight before Kattar who happened to be against the sitting Champion, but apparently I was playing mental gymnastics trying to justify max as championship level because the recorded history has an L listed in his previous outing. Stuff like this and the people who talk in pure absolutes with statements saying someone has 0 chance or whatever. They all just come off as an ignorant idiots.

Kattar is the better and harder striker. Max is going to strike with him. 95% of the time bet on the better skilled fighter where the fight will take place.
