The Younger generation have terrible work ethics.

lol those noobs dont know about the excel macro that moves your mouse every few min. i log in at 9ish and leave it on and go back to sleep



This does rather play into the idea of "bullshit jobs", the idea that office/middle management positions have grown far beyond what actually needs doing.
 
in any work setting, 90% of the real valuable work is done by 20% of the people.
of course the rest are lazy.
not motivated, little to do
what the heck should they do
general idea is companies can fire probably half of their staff and not feel the difference.
but what the heck do you do with all those people fucking about all day
state doesnt have all that money for keeping people home on benefits
 
Anyone else feel that the concept of "work ethic" doesn't actually exist?

If what I'm doing isn't meaningful to me, then I'm going to be a lazy fuck, and 5 hours a day seems too much for me.

On the other hand, if it is meaningful, then 14 hours a day is the time of my life and doesn't seem like enough time.

I can't help but feel that most "lazy" people are just those who aren't doing what's actually meaningful to them.
