The wrestling of Tony Ferguson

Well it's your dumb ass who can't even type properly. This all began just because I made a comment that you didn't agree with for some reason. I assume it's because you are a simple minded teenager who doesn't know much about anything yet. Now I am going to give you two options and you WILL do one of two things. Reply to me with another idiot post and further the stereotype that you are another stupid white belt or ignore me all together. Dance my puppet.
Assume away douchebag, just goes to show how stupid you are. Are you 12 years old? Your posts sure make it seem that way.

If tony fought khabib I still think his defensive wrestling wouldn't be enough and it would be about how much damage tony could do from his back.

Too bad he couldn't wrestle Justin to save his life :(

Not sure how much tony has left but I hope he wins this weekend to stay in the mix. I still want tony v khabib. His scrambles and work off his back would be way tougher then anything khabib has faced as lw champ in that regard. The 2 fights tony struggled with wrestlers vs Castillo and lee, tony still found way to win off his back. He neutralized Castillo and was more active from his back then Castillo was from top. And with lee, tony cut him up and finished him. Not saying he would do that cr khabib because I certainly don’t think he would, but styles make fights and he would be more game in those positions then iaquinta, Connor, poirer or Justin

This is Sherdog. Some people would 100% be making statements like that based on the one loss.
When you lose to the number 5 guy, haven’t fought any of the top 4 and are 37 years old....you are the new Cerrone ( fun to watch but a strap is only possible in the BMF division.)

I have seen the Castillo fight 3 times. Tony did nothing on his back and Castillo did a lay and pray. Tony won the stand up barely but being on his back for 13 minutes he should have lost and one of the judges agreed. Two gave it to Tony for aggression on his feet but he has nothing for Khabib once he gets grounded and quite frankly Khabib looked better on his feet against their last common opponent.

ive watched it a few times as well, Tony didnt do much at all off his back and I was curious to see who the judges would give it to, very close fight where neither guy was impressive. Fight could have gone either way but tony did enough to neutrailze danny and even if you completely erased the standup portion, you could argue tony won the ground battle by slimmest of margins just by playing defense and keeping danny having to fight just to try and stay on top. Danny did nothing and if you score that fight for danny, you are legit saying being on top wins even if you do nothing. Tony was the more aggressive and active fighter on the mat

I agree with everything you said except top is the dominant position and gets points for control wether he does anything or not. If Tony were chaining submission attempts from the bottom or elbowing him to create massive damage it would be even or points for Tony but just lying there IMO was points for Castillo. Not a great fight but exposed Tony’s wrestling as not being exceptional.

hes great at scrambling and being creative off those scrambles
