In all seriousness, as much of a badass as he is, he's not young. He's taken a lot of punishment, and has been dropped (so presumably concussed) multiple times in his career. The beating that he took in his last fight may have been career altering.

That said, since we haven't seen him fight since that loss, it's all conjecture. I don't know if Oliveira's the one to really compound the damage to Tony's chin; but we're going to find out. It might not even really be an issue.
While I'm not a huge fan of his, I hope he's had enough time to recover.

He's 37 and probably more like 45 in fighter years. I was saying that before the Gaethje fight, too. The oldest UFC LW champ ever was Sean Sherk who held the belt for a few months at age 33. The lower weight divisions are for young guys.

Tony was completely dominated by Castillo in the wrestling of their match up with 13 minutes of the 3 round fight on his back. If he could not out wrestle Castillo he was never going to beat Khabib , ever. Tony needs this win because with his age (37) and fighting infrequently (generally once a year) with 2 more losses he will be on his way to Bellator.

He's also 37 and he's got a lot of milage on him. I wouldn't personally consider him done, but it's also not like people saying that are basing it JUST on his one loss.
