The worst mentally broken fighters

As of this year I’m throwing Adesanya & O’Malley on this list lol

If you watch closely you can actually pinpoint the moment it happens

Mayhem Miller
This might be the right answer. Many people talk about the Bisping fight but I wouldn't agree.

After the loss to CB Dollaway, he mentally broke completely after getting released and the UFC not covering his knee injury. He had that incident on Ariel Helwani's show later that year if I'm not mistaken. Neither Zuffa-era Strikeforce, WSOF, nor Bjorn-Bellator would touch him after that, even if Mayhem was still a name at that time. I could have seen him building himself up again in those promotions. A high-profile MMA career seemed to be the only thing holding him together.

Future life sentence or suicide IMO.

BRETT ROGERS

He went from HW terror to jailtime and toilet fun
Doesn't seem to be all there at the moment:

He has like 20 Facebook profiles. The tell-tell sign of heavy substance use and homelessness.

Anyone remember Sam Alvey after getting choked out by Julian Marquez?

Dude was in full on shame and misery mode and never nearly fought well again after that.

Dude's spirit shattered.

He completely fell apart after that CB fight

Uriah Hall maybe. He wasn't "broken" per se but his mindset, lack of killer instinct really held him back. He had (has) a fantastic skillset and lethal striking techniques. He beat fighters he should have lost to and lost to guys he should have steamrolled.
Seems like a really genuine, nice guy. Maybe too nice for MMA?
He was bullied as a kid and was broken for life since then.

Don't think it's been mentioned much but when Geoff Neal put a brutal beating Luque, Luque has been a complete shell of himself since then. Guy was one of the most notorious toe-toe sluggers in the UFC to straight up quitting against Joaquin Buckley from some GnP shots that don't even land (dead serious, go rewatch the fight).

That was physical defeat and acknowledging loss. He was not mentally broken.
Bruh the fight being over long after he finally tapped is broken. Jones was literally parading around the ring when he tapped because even if he had a chance and the ref let him stand up he just couldn’t go on with such a beating

Surprised no one mentioned Diego Sanchez and Joshua Fabia yet. You have to be broken to subject yourself to this.

Obviously Terry Etim, because he openly talked about how he was broken and had suicidal thoughts after the Barboza KO ;

Honorable mentions for
Ronda Rousey
Alex Gustafsson
Thomas Almeida
Renan Barao
Gray Maynard

Poor Terry.

The last I saw about him was his public meltdown with the bus.

Juliana Miller is a pretty green fighter who won TUF lately. She got badly Outclassed in her few UFC fights and I haven't heard anything about her since

Also Thomas Gifford. He took one of the worst ufc ass whoopings I've ever seen in my life. That fight wasn't for the faint of heart. I think he's competed a few times outside the UFC but I think his career is potentially over

He ran into someone in UFC named Mike Davis and it was like a man vs a child. Thomas had no threatening offense

Mousasi and Yan broke Weidman and Sterling and they both tried to force dq
