The WORLD WIDE WEIRD Thread

That website linked for the city is awesome, did you check that out? I didn't even know a place like that existed.
haha yeah if you type the city into youtube a lot of videos about it are on there.. I watched a good one awhile ago cant remember which one though.

Today's installment is a government/conspiracy site with a bit of a twist. This site has gone through the trouble of actually posting a ton of government declassified documents to help make their case. The name of the site is The Black Vault and on this site you will find a huge number of stories, conspiracy theories, UFO's, the paranormal, declassified documents, and much more. They currently have over a million pages of declassified documents alone.

I cannot stress how much stuff there is to look at and the site is well maintained and current.

The above link is the document archive. Also here is the start page, it tends to lead in different directions.

This is a good one. The name of the site is Wolfram Alpha. Its difficult to describe it. It is tagged as a computational knowledge engine. This is not like google. Its a site where you can enter your search query and it will calculate and present to you good information on that item or topic. It can do advanced math problems, it can calculate the procession of the stars, or it can tell you how many calories in pinto beans. You really would have to play with it to understand how incredibly cool this website really is.

Simply type in anything you want to know about. I tried to trick it using obscure references and it was pretty damn good at knowing everything. Just enter something in the searchbox and let it go to work.

We are truly living in strange times. This site will allow you to take the ashes or hair from a dead pet....or a dead loved one, and send it to them. Once they get the package they will take the carbon of your dead pet or dead human, and they will place it in a machine that compresses artificial diamonds and they will make a diamond out of your loved one. I don't know if that's cool or really creepy.

Uncrate is a pretty sweet site with very unique items and gifts. In fact, its one of the best of its type that I've seen. Updated constantly.

If you want Peat Monster Whiskey, they got that.

You want a Timahawk for survival situations, they got that.

The unspillable cup. I want one for my computer desk.

Well shit. These 5D MF'ers are coming down into our 3D reality to eat our cheeseburgers and get cool souvenirs. Only the Breatharians will understand this. Ice-cream was originally created to remove the symptoms of staying too long in this 3rd dimension. In fact, if you meditate every day on the 5 magic words and then eat McDonald's double cheeseburgers with diet coke, you may ascend to the 5th dimension.
Still no luck.
Thinking about adding stevia to the ice cream or Double Quarter Pounder to see if that helps.

Almost made it to 4D, though.

I believe Leedskalnin knew exactly how the ancients moved those stones, and wasn't simply embellishing or claiming so in order to garner interest and create a mysterious aura. I actually made a thread on him in this very forum a while ago. Here's a site dedicated to him where you can read his writing for free.

Dude was an enigma. I plan to go check out his creation sometime.

I know you posted this like 2 years ago but I'm still gonna say that the only thing that makes me think Leedskalnin was full of crap is the fact that IF he knew these ancient secrets, WHY didn't he ever just tell anybody?!

I mean, if I figured out something crazy like that, I would sure not keep it a secret. I don't think anybody would. Which makes me highly doubt him.

I don't think he knew any ancient secrets but if he built the castle alone that's still impressive. I wouldn't undertake that shit. He perfectly mounted a 9 ton gate that can be moved by hand and supposedly when it broke down the people taking care of the castle tried to have it repaired and discovered a small stone that it was mounted on of unknown origin.
