Even though I find you annoying I think you are a good guy


But I was mocking you there. I saw you say the thing about giving the finger to a Trump rally and I see you here bemoaning the state of our discourse.

But as I was saying in cuffs thread the other day I do hate all protesters and rallies and people making racket and a scene in the streets pretty equal and feel pretty hostile to mobs and general so there is that. I hate noise I stress being late and I don't want to get tear gassed or pepper sprayed. Chances are high if your idea of raising awareness is to annoy the shit out of me I'm not super sympathetic to your cause and will likely hate you.

It's just funny to me that it's the straight up Bible quote about seeing the splinter in my eye while ignoring the plank in your own. You are aware of the problem but don't see yourself as a part of it. I've discoursed with you before ....

What makes you think I'm not honest with myself? Further, I don't have hate and negativity towards disadvantaged, towards the poor, towards people on public assistance or towards hard working immigrants. I won't talk shit about someone because of the color of their skin or if they are poor.

I have voted conservative plenty and was a member of the Republican party for years.

I do have some hate towards pricks that I believe are ruining the country. If I have learned anything in life it's that you can't make friends with a bully. I can't stand the way our country has moved towards bullying the little guy. So, fuck those people. I'm honest about this.

Exact point of the thread, our discourse is in the toilet and a lot of people don't care.

Conservatives have lost compassion and empathy.

I don't see any compassion or empathy from either side. Neither side seems to want to change it either, so here we are.
 
Are this administration approval ratings on immigration not indicative that the plurality or majority of the populace support Trumps approach?
