The Walking Dead' is coming to an end, they announced this will be the last season

Last season I saw was when they left the prison to go to that military colony place, I can't believe how long the show went on for and that so many people would still watch it.
 
Season 1. Awesome. As a big fan of the post-apocalyptic genre I must say that season 1 was one the best depictions of a zombie infested world. Shit just got waaaaay too ridiculous. I stopped watching years ago but I catch some stuff here and there.

This show started to lose it when samurais started appearing. And then the dude with the pet Tiger.

Rick Grimes is also the most overrated leader ever. Makes shit tons of questionable decisions and people still wait on him to lead. Weird.

Lauren Cohan is hot though so maybe I'll watch... AFTER the season ends if I know Maggie doesn't get too cozy with Negan.

TWD show that was based on the comics ended.

But the characters from said show are now getting their own spinoffs. There's 3 spinoffs one with Rick and Michonne, one with Maggie and Negan in NYC and finally one with Daryl in Paris.

The stormtrooper armor is the commonwealth soldier uniforms. It's from the comic. That was from the final arc of TWD/comics.

In TWD comics Negan was exiled from the group but in the tv series they killed off too many characters and they couldn't afford to get rid of Negan.
 
I think I stopped watching after season 4 or 5. Was a great show to start. I guess I need to man up and watch it again and actually finish it

Lol. S2 was slow, but it was different. I liked it. S3 onwards were pretty much the same formula over and over again with a newer and more over-the-top villain.

Didn't really read the comics, not a fan of the artwork. The stormtrooper armor looks weird regardless though. I think the last season I watched was the one before the time jump after the war with Negan where Rick let him live. It's like Rick totally shat on the graves of Glenn and Abraham.

The season where they left the prison, think season 5, the first season - 5 were the best.

It got progressively worse after that. When Negan turned up, thought it end up pretty good, but nope.

Do yourself a favour, and don't watch any more.

I haven't even seen the last 3 seasons. Garbage.

Yes definitely stopped watching before Negan showed up. Only know that name because I heard friends reference that name when discussing the show after I stopped watching. I would be prepared for the disappointment if I did try to watch it to the finish.
