I'm just giving this a shot.

it's very different, Grappler Baki hates his dad,
this kid has a loving father.

and the art work too...

I love the original manga art of Baki, it's almost grotesque looking.

this one is not my bag, but oh well, even Baki had major art style change in the anime.

so far it's O-K, worth a look not as good.
