TUF The Ultimate Fighter: Team Cormier vs. Team Sonnen, s.33

This is stacked? God damn, the only guys who's a top shelf prospsct is Alibi Idiris and he's already pushing 30. At 125 Daniyar Toychubek and Bilal Hasan are the best guys they could sign, i expected Jeremy Del La Mata or Oscar Miguel. At WW no Michael Oliveira? No Samandar or Khotam? No Kubanza? Sean Clancy Jr? Sucks.
Haha I fought Bilal. Kid is good

Arshyian dropping his hands and then proceeding to get tkod is hilarious. Early stoppage tbh. Indian guy tough as shit

Yeah, he was Pan Ams gold medalist in Tae Kwon Do and went the MMA route over the US Olympics. And hes been training out of his home gym while cross training at Humes with Mighty Mouse since like 14. Hes a real blue chip prospect, could totally flop but like I said Sanzhar Zakirov ONE scooped up. Daniyar and Bilal are the two best Flyweight prospects both only 23.

I thought that was kind of WTF too but I thought he was briefly flash KOed on the feet and Imanol hesitated before coming back in to finish the job. Do you think he was trying to showboat like some "shaolin monk vs. boxer" bullshit before getting finished? If that's what he did, that was indeed hilarious.

Yes I’m pretty sure he tried to pull that and got smoked lol

Good episode. But missing weight by 5 lbs is some bullshit and Binder should have been cut from the show and sent home if not for Uncle Chael throwing him a lifeline. It's not even like he's cutting from MW - looks like he's previously fought at WW and LW. At least the right guy won.

That was one of the bloodiest fights I have seen in a while.

Good lord the pre-fight "music" on this show is absolutely atrocious.

It's so soulless and shitty I swear it sounds like it's generated by AI.

I wish DC vs chael will fight just like previous coaches

Semi-finals:
Alibi vs Roybert
Imanol vs Joseph Morales
Matt Dixon vs Donchenko
Sezinando vs Creighton
Rooting for Cormier's guys overall, Imanol and Sezinando in particular. From how the fighters and coaches speak, it seems like Alibi and Dixon are the most feared

Even though they aren't fighting, I can see Chael getting under DC's skin. DC doesn't seem like a bad guy but he seems to have a limit and I think his all round good guy persona will start to crack.
Chael is a personal trash talker, and only folks like Wanderlei get annoyed by him because they don't understand it's a gimmick

Yeah Chael and DC are friends that have a podcast together. I doubt DC is unprepared for his schtick.

DC and Chael playing pickleball WTF. But the fight was great - Alibi is a fucking savage. They need to book this dude for a title shot ASAP after he wins the show.

A few thoughts from this episode

1) Alibi is an absolute beast
2) Chael Sonnen sucks at pickleball
3) Colby Covington is an unbearable douche
