The UFC should cut Jon Jones...

Jones is a real draw, Masvidal isnt, the UFC doesnt pay millions unless they make Millions in PPV, and even then the % seems to be low compared to a boxing card selling around the same, of course they wont cut him.

As much as i hate Jon, it's not really baseless. I get styles make fights but, Glover is the champ atm, and i don't see old man winter winning a rematch. Sad, I know. I honestly don't know why Jon hasn't made any public attempt to rejoin LHW. My guess is a USADA issue that isn't being talked about.

He's in the top 3 highest paid athletes in the UFC currently and I don't see what value he brings any longer.

Honestly, if Dana doesnt give him a fight (if he can even fight) for the next 2-3 years, thats just Karma getting Jon, where the Law hasn't.

Hes upwards of 250lbs now.

Jones is never going back to LHW

To do what what ? Beat the champ he beat 8 years ago and clean out the division a 5th time?

That’s probably what Jon wants. He can juice in PFL, so he would look unbeatable again and get a cool million every year. Then could build some intrigue to get him back in the ufc at HW. But the UFC would never cut him, just to fuck him over. They are probably offering him Frank Ngannou every 3 months and that’s it until he officially retires.

Jones makes more than that per fight, why would he? Easier competition? Sure, but the risk is there anyway, for a fraction of what he makes.

Because he can juice and his ego won’t be affected, like when Frank KOs him stiff. The UFC would never let him out of his contract, just to piss him off, so unless he fights it out, forget it.

A few of them Pride champions where peds were given to fighters.

Thinking he is an exception is patently naive
