Disagree about Cain (I think they were using Cain to build Ngannou), but agree with the point of the thread in general.

MMA and it's fans hate building up contenders. Look at the hate AJ McKee gets on here for taking increasingly better opponents.

Then the same people worship Khabib, whose record is more than half nobodies.

Eh, what? It's the complete opposite of what you just said because Robbie has one of the best TDD in WW history. He's a horrible and one of the matchups for Askren in the WW division

He may have excellent TDD (I love Robbie btw) but in terms of “how you attempt to beat him” your best bet is to wrestle him not strike with him (unless you’re Woodley Ofc or Diaz lol) I think if anyone is gonna get him down and hold him there for 15-25 min Askren has a really good chance.
