Social The three 'masculinity categories'

My last relationship lasted over a year. I bought every single movie ticket and dinner and drink for every night out for the whole year. I had a lot better finances than her, and she couldn't have done all that if I didn't pay. I was happy too. If we had stayed together, I would have kept doing it. She would say she saw me as traditional.

When I was married, I was progressive because my wife made so much money that my contribution was negligible. Her job also beat the shit out of her, so she needed domestic / cooking help and kindness. The only way we would end up in traditional gender roles is if someone broke into the house while we were home.

My "gender roles" had fuck all to do with my natural inclinations and everything to do with how much money the other person made. In the olden times, men made and controlled all the money. Pretty god damned easy to be the provider when the woman isn't allowed to work. Now days, unless you are in the top 5% and involved in upper level management or political jobs, women are doing better, so it is pretty hard to act out the traditional gender role unless you just look for a woman who isn't doing good.

I could go be a provider right now if I sought out a waitress to fuck or something.

I don't know about all that, but one day the sexually frustrated dorks of this generation, will rise up to become deranged women beaters. All those years acting like a homosexual friend and not getting any results, combined with jerking off to rape porn everyday, is gonna have dire consequences down the road.

It might already be happening. Pretty sure violence against women is on the rise.

Do you honestly think women get beat more now? lol cmon now

It's the only time in history they get treated as equals.

I feel like #2 describes me the most accurately. I wouldn't want to live this life without my wife right there with me. She's an amazing woman, and probably taller than most of you.

This is basically every relationship in the modern era. I don't know many people that do #1 and it's generally met with a side-eye or a chuckle. It's also extremely hard to be the only breadwinner in the family at the moment. Everyone has a job so they contribute equally.

I also don't know many guys who have not been cooking and cleaning their own shit since forever. It isn't a difficult task to begin with either tbh.

I look at people who can't cook/clean as children.

A "study" from sociology, which can barely be considered a science, and assumes feminism as a valid perspective. In other words Lysenkoist horse shit.

As far as the so called results go it's not a surprise that the participants in such a study would largely reject option 1. Decades of feminist propaganda has poisoned young minds into believing that traditional forms of masculinity are inherently toxic, abusive, cruel, and part of a conspiracy by men to exploit women. In the eyes of feminists the history of the world is one long wife beating.

Did you forget to switch accounts or something?
I think we just found out who @Tatra's main account is.

They are just like minded insecure chuds. It’s why they are forced to project their masculinity to anonymous posters on the internet.

So according to these people, the definition of masculinity only relates to how you treat your wife? Sounds like they don’t train UFC to me

Not sure who that is. But if you don't like him I assume he's a stand up guy.

@Source is glomming on to you in hopes of getting your approval. That should tell you all you need to know about yourself.

Another thread about masculinity. I'm starting to think that some people are very insecure about themselves.
why would anyone get interested in MMA in the first place? ;)

I see you’re back to writing fan fiction about me. I don’t seeks other’s approval especially not here. It’s the posters like you here that flock together.

Men have done a good job moving away from traditional values where the man was such a badass he didn’t help with shit around the house, didn’t show up to the birth of his kids etc. now you see guys like Andrew tate trying to revert men to this and hence the rise is violence against women. Such tough traditional men.

Probably 2 in my last relationship.

Don't really see why anyone would care though.

The premise is false from the start as the implication is if a man follows "traditional roles" they're somehow not "equal" to a woman... That's insane, men will never be women, women and men will never be the same nor should they. To expect that is so myopic and harmful it seems only the most mindless would subscribe...
