Jakub Wikłacz now has 23 fights in his professional MMA career, and 22% of those came against the same person.
How common is it that you're so evenly matched with somebody else, that a sizable chunk of your career has to do with that person?
Fig vs Moreno and Rampage vs Wanderlei obviously comes to mind first, but they were all seasoned when facing each other for the first time. The percentage isn't close.
According to Polish fans who are dedicated to KSW, Sebastian Przybysz is just as good as Jakub - and could have won some more of their fights with better judge luck.
Interesting that only one of them got the chance to show their ability by the UFC, when they do share this unique history in MMA. Przybysz with just 19 fights in his career.
