The statistics are still pretty nuts. I live in a town roughly the size of Flint, and there are maybe a few dozen violent crimes a year. Not nearly 2000 along with 40-50 murders.

Compared with all of Canada, that's 2/3 of the cases we have with less than 1/3 of the population, but around the same number of deaths.

But they're protesting to re-open. And the POTUS is encouraging it. So the OP is not wrong to say that's fucked up, but in this case I blame the lead in the water, for sure.

They got upset at being disrespected for being told to wear a mask. Liberate yourselves from the restrictions is what Trump apparently meant.
