I'd like to think a lot of them are just confused/stupid teenagers, but then you have journalists and other "high profile" people jumping into the mix. It's only gonna get even worse from here on out too.
 
Notice the majority of those people are white... and I don't know about you guys, but if want the opinion of someone who understands racism, I'm looking for a white person.

I don't know.. I find it pathetic that you have all of these white people act like they somehow are experts on the subject of racism and spew their garbage as if they somehow experienced these issues too. I mean 9 times out 10 when you hear the term "white privilege" come up, it's a white person saying it. These clowns will even go as far are telling minorities how they should feel about racism. If I was a minority I'd be pretty insulted by these people. It's patronizing.

I also went to a liberal art college in Chicago and I can tell you that I saw first hand where this holier than thou attitude comes from. College students, many of which who probably never paid taxes or for health care.. etc, sit around stroking each other off while theorizing about society and all it's wrongs all the while never experiencing it first hand. Granted I was in my mid to late 20s when I went to school there so I had already had a much different attitude.

It's easy to talk about injustices when you have biased sources and an instructor force feeding you material to make you hate the fact you were born white. But it's amazing when you get out in the real world and see everyone's struggles, maybe experience a few for yourself and realize that shit is pretty colorblind. That decent people do exist from all backgrounds, and shitty people exist from all backgrounds and at the end of the day you either choose to respect human beings or you don't.

Dude, dont you get it? It is because they used their parents hard earned money, or developed a substantial amount of debt to go to a nice college to learn about racism. The education, coupled with they fact that they cannot find a good job with said education,and now have debt or no longer their parents bank account to support them. Thus needing to get a service industry job, move into the city (albeit, a regentrifying pocket of the city), but still cheaper than the nice suberb they grew up in. So now they are actually living in the urban enviornment, created by racism, rather than the suberbs that perpetuate classism and racism.

Are there not better experts than these?
