Just about everything is politicized at the moment here in the States. All it takes is for someone to agree with any policy or ideal of our current President, regardless of the degree, to be completely lumped into the ideal that you are a fascist, etc. On the reverse, any real criticism of our Presidents policies, goals and statements brands you a Leftist nutter ungrateful for your country, it's history, it's security, etc...
Granted, it's mostly the hysterical elements on both sides that are getting the most attention from the media and the most easily seen on social media but moderates on both sides are not speaking up nearly enough to denounce all this craziness and state that these extreme idiots don't actually speak for them.
So, waaaaaaaaay to much partisanship on both sides and not nearly enough calls for settling the f*ck down from moderates. Actually, kinda interested in what the attrition rate is now on actual moderates as they are driven toward one political ideology or the other. There may actually come a time when there really are no real moderates and just hard left and hard right squaring off.
