- Still has 42k of student loan debt at age 50 I have zero student loan debt, my wife also has zero because we paid it off about 8 years after she graduated.

- Watches 33 hours of TV a week. I’ll watch some sports and YouTube or some old tv series with the wife. At most 20 hours a week but usually way less.
- Spends $69 a day. Hard to compare this as I buy a lot every day for my business
- Consumes 11 alcoholic drinks a week I rarely drink. 1-2 drinks a month.
- Wants a career change. Same job for 14 years and no plans to change.

The average student debt isn't even $42k overall, let alone still at age 50, and a 50 year old would have gone to college in the 90s, when the average tuition for 4 years was like half that. Median savings account is around $1200, which is down quite a bit in the last couple years, but still over $1k. Average first time home buyer is actually worse than that, it's 36, and the TV thing is believable if it's the amount of time the TV is on in the background rather than actively watching it.

Source? I find some numbers like the TV and alcohol consumption rate high and the divorce number low.
