If Daniel Cormier is to believed, he said UFC gave him a lot of backdoor undisclosed bonus along with the usual salary.
Yeah he got $4million for fighting Black Beast short notice.

I mean, you would expect a UFC champion to have the biggest fight of his career in the UFC, not against a Disney channel star
I'm not sure if Jake is bigger than Conor but Jake has claim at being bigger than the UFC at this point tbhJake Paul is a bigger star than everybody in the UFC.
What a beyond dumb take.
I still can't believe that Woodley just stood there while Jake wound up and unloaded that right hand. He didn't even attempt any head movement or deflection.

I think fighters will realize this and finish their contracts just to fight him. Jake owns the UFCAnd if Woodley had ever fought Conor it would've been among his biggest pays too.
It's pretty simple. Like no fucking shit Woodley made dick all fighting Wonderboy guys. Which one of you paid for UFC 209?
As long as those promotions are bidding for the same talent, or fighters think of them as a viable means of alternative employment… it will have impact in future pay
no mma fighter not with the impact on a event like conor will ever get a 2 million fight purse.
Moot pointGood thing TW and Askren don't care about humiliation for a buck because getting faceplanted in front of millions of people does have value also....And then again they both got humiliated there last fights in UFC also...so mute point.
GSP has said he made over 10 mil a fight
no mma fighter purse was 10 million but gsp was the highest paid fighter next to anderson silva so the money they made at the time was huge in the terms of mma. brock lesner also made huge money. remember ufc 100 sold 1 million ppvs when selling 1 million wasa big deal.
“There’s a lot of people buried in the desert for much less than what I made for that fight, my friend, for the fight with Michael Bisping, with the pay-per-views, the sponsorship, and all that, I made about $10 million. Then in 2019, I got out. I’m very lucky and very privileged that I finished on top. The reality is most fighters finish broke and broken. They hang there too long. They get brain damage. They go broke. I’m very healthy and I’m wealthy. It’s very rare to find someone that hangs up his gloves and finishes on top like this.” St-Pierre wrote.
