Kavanaugh is just another far right worm. Trying to strip rights away from regular citizens.

Completely immoral and disgusting.

Brett Kavanaugh has faced blistering scrutiny from Democrats during his Supreme Court nomination hearing. One of his harshest critics, however, gave the judge a huge hand during a personal question and left the room rolling.

California Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein gave the Trump nominee an assist after GOP Senator Lindsey Graham asked him how he wants to be remembered. “If you are confirmed, and I believe you will be, what is your hope when all of this is said and done, and your time is up? How would you like to be remembered?” Graham asked.

Kavanaugh paused at the question and began to slowly say, “A good dad … a good judge …”

Off camera, Feinstein can be heard saying, “A good husband.”

“I think he is getting there,” Graham said to laughs in the room. He continued later, “Thanks, Diane. You helped him a lot. It will be better for you tonight.”

The room erupted after the comment.

Kavanaugh said, “I owe you,” to the senator, who had just grilled him on his judicial decisions an hour earlier.

“A good son. Good friend,” Kavanaugh concluded. “I think about the pillars of my life, which are being a judge, of course, and being a teacher. Either way this ends up, I will continue teaching. Coaching, as I mentioned, is a huge part of my life, and I will try to continue that. Senator Kennedy advised me when we met. Make sure you keep coaching. Volunteering, being a dad and a son — a husband and a friend.”

Actually, i think he is pro 2A... Just sayin'.

Textualism/Originalism is just a rhetorical tool used to disparage progressive justices. Every Supreme Court justice is merely interpreting the constitution. None of them wrote it, or had a hand in writing it. So, by definition, they're just giving their interpretation of what the text means.

So, you can shove that boring trope up your ass.

As to documents, yes there are documents that could make me support him. Clear evidence that he believes in limits on executive power, clear evidence that he believes in a woman right to choose. Clear evidence that he would side with labor in collective bargaining cases, etc.

But the reason they're hiding all those documents, is because it will confirm the worst of the criticism of him. He will be a rightwing toady on the court.

but Roe vs Wade was unconstitutional. It should be a state right.

so when should we expect Kavanaugh to be appointed? Personally, I believe Trump should hold a ceremony to knight him.

That kamela(or whatever her name is) woman really had Kavanaugh in an awkward situation when she asked whether or not he spoke with Mueller or someone involved in the investigation(or something like that).

Hell...I felt awkward because of the long pause....
