She's not some unbeatable monster. She's not an all time great. She's a half step ahead of the competition, and frankly she owes a huge debt of gratitude to Eric Colon.

Jessica is very dangerous on her feet. Carla can't strike for shit and she's nowhere near strong enough to lift Rose like that.

She absolutely is an all time great as far as WMMA is concerned. Rose has a tendency of beating people who everyone thinks are unbeatable monsters, like Joanna and Zhang.

Everyone owes something to someone.

Rose is an overachiever IMO. I respect her skill level, but she loses fights that she shouldn't. Carla has a legitimate chance at wrestlefucking Rose. Unfortunately for Carla, her striking is absolute SHIT, and that leaves a ton of openings for Rose to tap that ass.

We have to honestly start considering the possibility that Meisha Tata is a top 5 woman fighter of all time. I don't see Rose as on her level.

Running what division? Miesha won the belt in a fight she was losing until locking in a hail mary rear-naked at the end of the fifth and didn't defend it once.

I'm not personally sold on the idea that Rose is a super talent on the level of a Shevchenko or Nunes. She's been very spotty in the past. She's 4-2 in title fights and has never won 4 in a row. So it's hard to imagine that she's now an unbeatable monster in her division. She barely squeaked past Zhang.

At the end of the day I believe that it comes down to which Rose shows up.
Zhang came in with a very smart game plan; and it still wasn't enough.

While I believe that Andrade is extremely beatable (and I don't mean that rematch toss up that they had,) I gotta believe that she's one good Flyweight win away from a title fight considering the method in which won their first fight.

So many casuals in this thread. Rose isn't even the best fighter in her division. She still has to fight former champ Carla who has a win over her to prove it.

Lol what? You're ridiculous. Rose doesn't have a thing to prove. How is Carla better than her, because she beat a different Rose 7 years ago? Or beat Yan and Rodriguez? Nonsense
 
Carla is definitely not capable of doing something like that. I don't think people understand how strong Andrade actually is. She was massive for 115, which can be proven by the simple fact that she has had fights not just at 125 but at 135 as well lol.
