i like carla and was happy to see her win the belt after TUF 20, but rose is on another level at this point. i could be wrong but I dont see how carla beats her right now

She had rizen and was sunk by Michelle years back, present day Carla Esparza is more of a resurgence... in the grand scheme if Dana gives Carla the TS, she’s going to be matched up against a completely different level Namajunas, not the inexperienced and unsure youthful Rose she beat years ago.

I don't know if Carla can beat her, but since she's a former champ, on a 5 fight streak, with a win over Rose she's absolutely earned the right to try.

I'm not personally sold on the idea that Rose is a super talent on the level of a Shevchenko or Nunes. She's been very spotty in the past. She's 4-2 in title fights and has never won 4 in a row. So it's hard to imagine that she's now an unbeatable monster in her division. She barely squeeked past Zhang.

yep the UFC hype machine compared her to those two which was stupid, Rose isn't close to their level

So 2 strikers couldn't get up, even though of course we would have to see it to answer that question it's not an even comparison. Rose has a ground game, she has submissions. I personally doubt she can hold her down long enough to win that fight.
