I won't rush to judgment until I see the full Mueller letter, since the Washington Post has a history of misleading its readers by omission. That said, Mueller's writing that the Barr letter “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance” of his report suggests to me that Mueller wanted to challenge the Barr summary.

See above Glenn Simpson testimony to congress saying the Russian Lawyer who initiated the meeting worked for Fusion GPS and met with Fusion GPS the day before and the day after the Trump Tower meeting. WTF is that?

It was reported on in November of 2017 by a little known news organization called NBC.<{Heymansnicker}>

Except...people didn't just take the Russian agent's side as gospel.:rolleyes:

"Starting in 2014, Simpson and Veselnitskaya had both worked on the same side of the Prevezon case, in which the Justice Department accused the Cyprus-based Russian company of laundering hundreds of millions of dollars via New York real estate. Beginning in 2016, Simpson was working with a former British intelligence operative on another project — the Trump dossier.

In a statement to NBC News, a lawyer for Fusion GPS said Fusion's work on the dossier was totally separate from its work on the Prevezon case. Levy said the firm was unaware of the Trump Tower meeting when it happened.

No one from Fusion GPS had any idea Ms. Veselnitskaya would be meeting with anyone from the Trump campaign," attorney Josh Levy said. "Nor did anyone from Fusion GPS know she would be sharing anything she learned from either the company or the Prevezon matter with the Trump campaign. This whole episode came as a complete surprise to Fusion when the news broke this summer."

I have to ask. Do you believe Fusion GPS here?

I mean she didn't mention the day before, or the day after the Trump Tower meeting anything about it to them? It was one of the most important events of her life and she said nothing to them.

This doesn't pass the smell test.

So now that you see that it isn't some breaking news that isn't being reported about the Steele Dossier..

I mean think about your question, why wouldn't she, as an agent of the Kremlin, mention that the Kremlin is trying to seduce and set up Team Trump with election help by hurting Hillary in exchange for rolling back the Magnitsky act? I mean yeah, that is the type of thing she would have just blabbed to an investigative reporter about, a reporter who is best known as the one who broke damaging information on Bill Clinton's concerning campaign donations from China in 1996.

There can be no serious question that Barr intentionally misled the American people about Meuller's thinking. Particularly when you look at his April testimony after he received the letter (which is the tweet I posted in response to you), but even his unwillingness to release Mueller's summaries (that had been carefully redacted for public consumption) was a conscious choice, as he instead presented his misleading summary to shape public perception with a misleading reading of Mueller's whole thrust. The actual report showed Barr to be a total hack, but to know that this letter existed before his public testimony, let alone his MAGA pre party before he released the actual report, is really a new low.

Read what Mueller actually said himself and you can form your own opinion of what Mueller thought. \

“The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this office’s work and conclusions,” Mueller wrote. “There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation. This threatens to undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the outcome of the investigations.”

I did read what he said but it was pointed out that he wasn't referring to the ACCURACY of Barr's summary.

I am not re-hashing this argument again (I've posted it a billion times).

What is Barr's motivation to be a corrupt cocksucker? Is he hoping for a white supremacist controlled US of A? Is he getting paid in rubles or condos in Trump buildings?

Am I crazy, or are people mischaracterizing the characterization of the mischaracterization? Incorrect-ing Mueller's correction?
