This is why we will reach apex quickly; no multi quotes.

God damn it USA, that was close
Yup. That group is all open.
Portugal and ghana have 1 point, Usa and germany got 4.
USA face germany next game and portugal faces ghana.
So everyone has a chance
Yeah. But with a draw, germany will still finish 1st in the group, and USA will be second. But I have my doubts that germany will go easy and settle for a draw.
Good Lawd. Capp just had another fantastic meet, 1127.5. Only siders has out-totaled him in the USapples.
Does any one here care about single-ply or am I talking to no one?
EDIT: Apparently Keo does.
Those Lillebridge folks are ridiculous. It's funny hearing them talk about their training too. I guess most would expect more out of it.
Keo, what would you say are the top Powerlifting gyms in America?
To me, Single Ply is like Basketball; I have no interest in watching or trying it myself, but I can still respect the top athletes in the sport.
Actually, I never played one either!
If you have an Android device, the DraStic emulator is great option - works incredibly well. But playing on my daughter's 3DS has left me really impressed with those things. So if it were me and I had my own 3DS, I would probably get one for that.
Anyone else watch Hannibal? Started it last night, very impressed.
No, but as I have just finished Sons Of Anarchy, I am looking for another show to watch. Might give it a go.
Yeah, he's pretty awesome. And I care about single-ply, but unfortunately the talent pool in the U.S. isn't anywhere near what it once was. The IPF is still fantastic though.
Their system does work, because they've developed a number of top lifters outside of their own family at this point. Besides Derek, they've got a 165 who is probably going to squat 650+ in his next meet (in wraps), and a female 132 who's already in the top 20 all-time. Another 275 that follows their method, Josh Combs just squatted 900 at 270ish lbs. at their gym.
That's really tough to say, but I'll do my best. Besides the Lilliebridge gym, there are a few other big ones in our area: Jakked Hardcore (which I think was their former gym), Madtown Fitness, and our gym, 22nd Street Barbell. Some of the traditional big gyms include Josh Bryant's Metroflex, Westside Barbell, Bev Francis's gym, Supertraining, and Big Iron, though some of the old standout multi-ply gyms aren't as big anymore. And then you've got teams like Team Quest and Jason Manenkoff's Iron Arena, which have a lot of good lifters, plus some of the top collegiate teams (Texas and LSU, for example). Some of the commercial gyms out there even have good groups; the Gold's in Vegas that Stan Efferding trains at also has Eric Spoto and a few others. Dan Green's Boss Barbell Club has some good up-and-coming lifters (they've got a 20-year-old with a 780 raw squat).
I might do a single-ply meet someday, but it's just not a terribly competitive sport anymore in the States. #1 at 148 in single-ply is something like 1530ish, while the best raw (with wraps) guy in the world just did something ~1480. I'd rather just focus on one discipline and get as good as I can in that one thing.

Thanks for the reply, Keo. Just out of interest, do you rate Juggernaut Training Systems? I know Wesley Smith himself is very strong; 900lb Squat, I believe.
Is anyone of you guise good at swimming?
