Psychedelic The Psychedelic rock / jam / stoner / space rock / krautrock / improv thread

When I picked up Dave Wyndorf & Co.'s debut album, I was so excited about this new band that was heavily influenced by Dave Brock and Hawkwind and the artwork on the cover that I couldn't wait to take it home and listen to it with my gf, who had a crush for Ed Mundell !!! I'm still flipped out by its heavy psychedelic rock and all the albums that followed !!!! :):)

If you wanna go down a psychedelic rabbit hole the answer is krautrock. Somehow the Germans created their own bizarre sense of rhythm which I've never heard elsewhere.

Were you aware Kraftwerk used to be decently heavy?

Initially unheard psych rock band from Minneapolis - they recorded an album in '69 only to be distributed locally - later they were dug up by collectors, fans and musicians and their album re-released various times in the 90s and Ks.
