PR The PR (Personal Record) thread, v.5

Nice pulling, Aleks.

Deadlift three rep PR at 470. Previous best was 455 (week before) and 460 (set before). Most I've pulled with a stiff bar is 475x1, so things are progressing nicely.

 
In best pull post-ACL tear, I got my best pull ever. Sumo deadlifted 295 x 10, which was the first time my weakish self had ever managed to pull more than 270 for a single. Going to try for 322.5 in two weeks.
 
85 kg overhead press.



I don't post PRs here often, but I was pretty happy after that one.
 
Big squat, man. A quick thought: Squeezing the fuck out of the bar and pulling it down onto my back and has helped me a ton with keeping my upper back tight and my chest up.

FS, this was the second set, was a bit fatigued at this point. The ridiculous welt on my back leads me to believe I was pulling down pretty hard. But I will take that point and be more aware of it. After the second rep I bumped something with my ass and you can see me look down at it and it was a bit distracting and the third rep was a bit off as a result. Still happy with the session.
