Squat - 282x2

This is the most weight I have done for more than one rep, and did this after my work sets. If anyone has tips on form I'd appreciate it.

Well you made that look pretty easy, good for a lot more IMO. Form looked decent, only issue was the shuffling in between/before reps, you want to be stable & reduce anything that will cause fatigue.

Thank you for the feedback, sir. I think I kinda rock like that as a cue to keep my weight on my heels. I gotta work on that.

Bench press PR @ 110kg for 2 reps. Was going for a single with this weight but since the first rep felt easy I did another one. Also first belted bench ever for me.

With how that weight went up, I honestly think you were good for a fairly easy 3rd rep, 4th slowing down to a slight grind, and a 5th rep being a grinder.

Closed the Captains of Crush # 2.5 for the first time tonight. I've been carrying that gripper around for the better part of a decade. Finally started some gripper specific training and a few weeks later wallah...

Hey! I worked back up, I just did it quickly. I can't convince myself to stay so light that it doesn't even challenge me.

Working back slowly up is done in order to allow new or week connective tissue to strengthen. It is a process that takes a decent amount of time, not days or a small number of weeks.

There are two reasons why people don't do this when coming back from a serious injury: ignorance, or weakness of will. Which applies to you?

hit a 410 sumo deadlift today! (+5lbs PR) And much easier than the last 405 conventional I hit... I'm starting to think I might actually have a stronger sumo pull than conventional...which is wierd to think, cause a year ago I tried sumo and could hardly pull 75-80% of my conventional max off the floor.. O.o

I'm still better than you at some sort of press, then.

This was not done with a slingshot or reverse blue band for the record.

Joking aside, just watched the floor presses in your log, I would pause your reps longer. We counted off a full two second hold/pause on these.

Yeah, I can get real skimpy with that.
