PR The PR (Personal Record) thread, v.5

Do you feel extra safe knowing that if you fail on bench, Tom could easily pull the bar off you with one hand?

It's reassuring, but less reassuring is the insults I will receive if I fuck up. Better than any PED.
 
430 bench. Didn't feel that great or plan to hit a PR today, this was just what my program called for.

Bench:
130kg / 286lbs x3
125kg / 257lbs x5


Front Squat:
140kg / 308lbs x1
 
Never squatted 240lbs before, hit it for a double today. Woop woop.

Previous PR was 235lbs x 5
 
190kg / 418lbs squat PR by 5kg / 11lbs. Hoping my hamstring holds up and 200kg should be there before the end of the year.

I've reached the point in starting strength where hopefully every day at the gym will be a new PR!
