    Haha. Nah, today has been evens for me so far, N. Have had a couple of nice winners and then a couple of chalky ones, but I've had a lot that have come up short too. Cheers for the positive vibes, though.

    The rapper I'm assuming? That be some shitty news, especially at such a young age with his whole life ahead of him..

    Yup. Can't say I'm too surprised, he's had a history with drug abuse and his girl had just dumped him and got engaged to another guy not long after they broke up. So it wasn't a good time. Worst part is he said once he didn't want to be in the 27 club, ends up he didn't even make it. Sad stuff.

    Win bet both the #6 and #7 after that last lesson, and got the 7/1 shot home first. The #6 finished 2nd. Buddy @BluntTrauma21 would have gone all in on this horse I'm thinking.

    Another good call Shark. Fading the public with one of the top 3 is working well my friend. Finding the value, baby.

    I'm only interested in the horses I have named, and the fair odds for them in brackets will determine whether I make one bet on the race or two. Or pass the race even. I also don't necessarily need better than the fair odds I have. Just something comparable.

    Wow we got more? I'm in. Those odds in parentheses are what price we want to get the horse/s around right @Sharkey ?

    Yeah, those are the odds I'm looking for before betting it, Blunt. In the ballpark of those anyways and obviously if they go off higher. If I have a horse listed at 3.7/1 or something and is offered up at 7/2 I'm not going to be too picky about it. Like I said to you in PM earlier today these are pretty basic and rough estimates of a horse's fair odds to me.

    Good luck to you if you're playing along some more, bud. And thanks for playing along earlier and again if you're playing along this evening. More tote board watching should be some good practice for you too if you are playing. Don't be afraid to pass on a race completely if you don't see the value in the race.

    @BluntTrauma21

    Some great value to be found on this Assiniboia race coming up in a couple minutes if you're in on it.

    It sucks b/c my book isn't giving me Assiniboia for some reason. I looked up to see if it could be under another name but they just aren't giving me odds so I have to pass. BOL to you tho. Hope your horse gets there.

    No value with a loser, though. Only got a mediocre 3rd with the #4 horse at Assiniboia.
