Law THE POLICE SHOOTING/USE OF FORCE MEGATHREAD: discussions to determine if justified or not

I think @nhbbear just really wants to show everyone that he went to school and learned about laws. I tried to play along and posted a shooting where it looked like the cop accidentally shot and killed a guy. The bearman tried to quote me but he fucked that up by putting his reply inside my quote.

In the fucked up quote he put a long explanation of case laws which really would all be moot if it could be proven that the cop accidentally fired his gun. I also posted another video, but the bearman couldn't figure out how youtube works so he couldn't respond to that one. Odd thread for sure.

You’re actually correct on this matter. Not the definition of a squirrel, through. I am looking to put my education and experience towards what I think more police leaders should have the balls and freedom to do-call out absolute bullshit when it comes out. For every hack lawyer or “activist” or the mindless drones with shitty homemade protest signs made from the inside of a case of beer that want to trash the profession I worked in and studied for so many years-I’m calling them out. I have tried to make a go at it on twitter, but it’s pointless on so many levels and you will probably not believe me when I tell you that sometimes, the limited amount of characters allowed per post is difficult for me to be succinct enough to squeeze in my years of accumulated knowledge and experience into. This forum, above all others, is supposed to be the forum where real debates/discussions take place. All I have been seeing is vapid and weak trolling/insults from lightweight “experts” and street/jailhouse lawyers. So forgive me for trying to dredge up someone worth the effort I put into this.

Lately, the easiest way to start a debate is “Donald trump is so————“ and just sit back and watch the idiots chase their tails. That bores me

I have really been thinking about this. My search function is not working at all. If I recall, and it’s very foggy, or might have been the waco thread? Maybe something more recent. What interaction are you finding?

Look, I have been jotting names down since the Waco thread, as I ran into some serious douchebaggery, and I may still call that guy in here-but I really don’t think he would want to discuss anything on a serious level and wouldn’t have much to add to any conversation. Besides, he is such a scary dude from Philly that the entire city of Portland, neigh, state of Oregon was terrified of him. No one even dared step to him. It would be alike having @AWilder or @jefferz on steroids. He’s that bad

If I made an error in calling you out, I am 100% man enough to admit and error and I will publicly apologize. I am certainly not above making a mistake and I own up to them when i realize I have made one-but I add to that list immediately when I have certain kinds of conversations. My point is that we can sort it out and when my search function works again, I will be happy to do so

It might be time to expand the topic of discussion to general policing.

Yeah, been there, done that. It ALWAYS devolves into a war on drugs argument or police militarization. Unless we get radley fucking balco in here, I am not interested in those topics at this point

Lol this got sadder.

Then just keep going with your weak ass or bring something better. Potus Calvin Coolidge was known as a man of very few words (very much my polar opposite) and he was once challenged by a detractor who claimed he would be able to rile him up so much that he would say more than two words. Like a boss, Coolidge said “you lose”

This is the second time you tagged me thats in my notifications and I honestly forgot about the first one. I'll admit though I get a bit overwhelmed by your essays. Not that they're bad, I can appreciate the effort, just that it eats up time to read and process sometimes

During my masters, I had no fewer than two professors that set a limit for me on papers to 20 pages. In some topics, that’s my introduction. I called you out because you are constantly spamming the bad cops thread. I figured if anyone was game, it was you. I am done tagging panty-wastes like wilder and jefferz. They’re like cool ranch Doritos-totally disgusting and being no heat

Yeah, well fuck you. You just made the list

There's a youtube channel that posts new cop shootings on an almost daily basis. I find it interesting and I could see where it could be turned into a decent thread topic. Not every single shooting, but some are crazy and some are kinda iffy on justification.

I don't think @nhbbear could ever make it work for several reasons though. He doesn't know how to use youtube. He only seems to want to write tomes about case law instead of just giving an informed opinion. Also the videos are restricted so that would probably require too many steps for most people here to actually watch the videos.

He has also dedicated this thread to old shit that nobody cares about anymore.

i'm enjoying your meltdown because no one wants to play with you.
<Lmaoo>

keep it up sad man!

Here is a good one @nhbbear. Have you ever done this one before?
Saw this one a while back. So good to get an update & that the old man got paid + $600,000. Good to know that the Black female officer even turned in the Sargent. Did seem like the Sargent was pretty disappointed with the cops conduct on the scene, but looks like he might of failed at doing the right thing reporting it.
This is the exact stuff @Sinister ussually references to a "T"
-Immediately comes in hot with WRONG information and crazy accusations
-Even though there is no gun & never was a gun the officer is still adamant that there was a gun.
-Elderly disabled man trying to comply gets black boot stomped to the pavement and busts his head.
-Tried to make a taped up stick illegal even after his Sargent let him know he was sounding extra silly . There is no crime to have this man in cuffs. We need to see why you just halled off and assaulted this old man.
-Cop than lies about them having cards.
-Even the Sargent appeared like "One of the good ones" on camera. Behind camera his own people claimed he didn't do right by the victim.
-I don't care what additional misinformation a dispatcher might of relayed to the officer. Cops are still 100% responsible for surveying and accessing the REAL LIFE scene & not doing horrible things to innocent people off of wrong and bad intel. They are also 100% responsible for any forceful or weaponized attacks they commit on other beings.

The big difference here is the other cops on the scene wanted to de-escalate the situation & did not support the ridiculous actions of this officer.
Which is very rare.
VERDICT: IMO. Unjustified & this is the type of person who should not be a cop. The crazy thing is, he's nowhere near as bad as many of the stuff that gets posted.

Dude's unhinged. He's already had a post deleted about shoving a pineapple up someone's ass, and sexual positions with lady-boys. And you can't forget the good ol slurs.

Even If I were “unhinged” I will still run circles around you. I don’t think I have ever seen you post a single thing with anything that comes close to substance. Holy shit, some of you guys are would have trouble reading these posts, let alone, expect y’all to understand and type and sort of coherent responses

Meltdown? Yeah, ok. Just sitting back, sniping stupid little quips because you know you would badly lose

Funnily enough, I actually thought of this same scene. Look man, I know how it looks. I simply don’t care. People tag me all the time to ask my opinion of this incident or that incident-and I am happy to help. I have been an educator for many years. For some reason, it comes very naturally to me. I taught defensive tactics for over 13 years, taser 12, women’s self defense for 6. I actually got my masters for two reasons-the first, I needed some kind of work or goal to keep busy while I was recovering from my back surgery especially during the pandemic. The second reason is that I was planning to teach at a university at some point.

I don’t currently have the time to even begin this one, but when I have dropped my kids off at school and so have a dr appointment immediately after-but I will get to it afterwards.
