This reminds me of something famous I can't quite place, someone like Newton?

Just got back from Patagonia and starting off with attempts at some post processing...

I haven't taken photos in so long. I haven't felt there's anything worth shooting since we're in that stage of winter where the snow is brown and dirty and the ground is soupy and everything is just . . . gross and brown lol. Very uninspiring.

Black & white photography is your friend. Depending on the subject and which film & filters you use, you can get a nice clean look or go for that extra gritty & grimdark look.

Where did you take those? Scenery is spectacular

I think I'm officially not into photography anymore. Went on a mini vacation and brought my smaller Fuji camera. I didn't even turn it on. I'm at a point that I'm happy taking snaps with my phone.

Los Glaciers national park in southern Argentina(especially around El Chalten), one of the best mountain landscapes in the world IMHO and doesn't have the altitude(mountain start close to sea level not at 3000+ meters) and isolation of the Himlayas, could get to those positions and back to a steak and a hotel bed in the same day.

Honestly I find it quite hard to take snapshots anymore, on holiday now I actually take fewer pictures than I did a decade ago, camera only tends to come out when something with potential is there and some days stays in the hotel room.

I feel like I don't have a good eye for black and white photography. When it's done well it looks amazing! Like @moreorless87 and his shots. But when it's not it's just, "Oh, another picture. Boring". Idk. Maybe I also just really like color especially when it's vibrant autumn or summer colors. I don't think I've gone out once this winter to snap photos. But that may also be because when it was beautiful out for taking pictures it was also -40 lol.

Guess I'll just have to wait out the brown.

I could never imagine leaving behind the camera while on holidays. But I definitely don't take it out as much these days. I remember on average I'd take 3000-5000 pictures a month . . . Perhaps a bit overkill, a snap fanatic even. But everything was so beautiful and I wanted to capture everything. Now I take maybe 20 pictures a month on it, and its of my bunnies. Though I attribute this to the current town I'm living in. I'm bored with it, nothing here really strikes me, I need a change of scenery I suppose.

Getting bored and losing creative process shooting around where you live is pretty common, I deal with it a few times a year.

Not for a whole holiday but sometimes for example if I was spending the day looking around museums or longing around bars.

Did take it out some of the time in Buenos Aires around the San Telmo area to the old markets.

Try some black and white and see.
