The Patterson Footage .....

They weren't trying to remake the Patterson film. They were making something totally different. They also didn't have the luxury of making a very blurry film to hide obvious flaws in costume making at the time.

Look at the footage I posted in post #103 of MK Davis' breakdowns and you will see it sharpened up where you can clearly see the hair and the muscles of the subject.

The fact that Patterson was a notorious conman pretty much destroys this instantly.

I'm all for conspiracy theories, i'm very interested in them and I think some of them are legit, but you need to look at the sources.

When you have an airline pilot who's flown thousands of miles say he saw a UFO, then you believe him.
When you hear a notorious conman say he saw a man in an ape suit and claim it was Bigfoot, you tend not to believe.

I agree that his reputation precedes him, but the film still holds up.

I get what you are saying, nevertheless, I can post interviews of Hollywood special effects professionals saying there is no way in fuck they could replicate that suit even now.

he won't bother looking at it - he's just a guy who thinks he's too cool and above it all to bother researching.

Have you seen any of MK Davis' breakdowns of the footage. Based on the hair, the musculature, the breasts, the movements, I'm about 80% sure that a real creature. No way in hell that's a suit and especially not from the 1960's, we wouldn't be able to make one like that now probably in 2017. I'll post a couple of his videos and a link to his channel if you like. Some of his work with the Patterson footage is very good.

He has many breakdowns of the footage but for example in this one, check out the musculature of the animal throughout the video, in the back, in the triceps, look at the calf muscle at :24. that is no suit man.

Here is one where he looks at some specific frames, a really good one of the foot at :52, you can see the pad of the foot and all 5 toes. Look at the musculature under the hair around the shoulder blades at 1:29. If that's a suit its the best one ever made by man and it was done in the 1960's.

Anyway, here is the link to his channel, he has done a ton of work on the Patterson footage and you will find a lot of breakdowns for it. They are all well done.

I have - and it's an incredible breakdown by him.

Davis has done countless hours of work on that piece of film. He and a couple others have pretty much convinced me its authentic. If you watch some of his 10 minute breakdowns you will see all sorts of things that people miss because he sharpens it up and slows it down and you can get a great look at the hair and muscles. If its a suit its the greatest suit ever made by anyone, anywhere.

nope, you need to explain how two idiot cowboys in the 1960's managed to create a suit that Hollywood today cannot do.

Because it was the 1960's and they don't make those monkey suits or the parts for it any longer. It was an extremely limited edition that was released during a once in a lifetime solstice, but pulled due to poor sales and sightings.

Its like trying to find vintage car parts anymore. They are similar, but don't always fit like an OEM monkey suit.

I'll post one more before I have to get back to work. Pause it at :15 seconds and look at the ripple of muscles in the hips, the thighs, the arms, if that's a suit then they need to find the guy that made it and hire him in Hollywood because he was better in the 1960's than anyone living today.

lol ? you're saying it was a once in a lifetime suit that can never be duplicated again ? that's what you're going with to prove it's fake ?

You're using a false logic. In this case you have men who claim to have captured a bigfoot on film. When the video was analyzed from an anthropological, technological, and scientific point of view, it was not possible to deem it a fake.

I'm not claiming it's 100% real, but given it has withstood all the scrutiny placed on it, it stands out.
I'm using false logic? If we are to take the video at face value, and not view it through the lens of someone who believes in bigfoot, at best it is a shadowy figure walking along. Assuming it is Bigfoot, Sasquatch, or whatever is making a false assumption. And given that there is absolutely no evidence supporting that any of those exist, the logical conclusion is that it is a person, as it is walking like a person, since we know people exist and also know that they are bipedal.

ITT I learned there seems to be some correlation between thinking Donald Trump should be president, and believing in Bigfoot.

Somehow I'm not very surprised.

you seem bitter - much like the lying rag you voted for

I personally don't believe in such things. There's not a ton of undeveloped territory left in the continental US Or that hasn't been explored extensively anyway. We would have stumbled upon another one by now I would imagine.

That's Khloe Kardashian. She must have forgot to shave that day
